Dr. Jicha received his PhD and MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a NIH awardee of a Medical Scientist training Program Scholarship. He completed his internship, neurology residency, and behavioral neurology fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Dr. Jicha serves as the clinical core director of the longitudinal research cohort in the UK ADC. He is director of the Telemedicine Cognitive Clinic, providing clinical care and educational outreach and support services throughout remote and rural areas of KY. Dr. Jicha also serves as principal investigator at UK for the NIH/NIA-funded Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study Group and is the principle investigator on numerous ongoing clinical trials investigating disease-modifying treatments as potential cures for Alzheimer’s disease.
