Female urologic conditions including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and urinary tract infections are common medical problems. The primary care physician is often the first medical provider to encounter patients with these conditions. They should be familiar with the basic evaluation and treatment of these conditions as well as indications for referral.
